Elevated Offerings: A Journey of Growth and Learning

Hello, friends.

I’m excited to share a new chapter in my journey with you! Over the past few months, my work in educational consulting has reminded me how closely growth and learning are connected. With every project, I’m brought back to why I started InterestEd in the first place—to make a meaningful difference for students, families, and schools.

As I wrap up my recent work with RVA and wait for new contract opportunities, I find myself feeling both reflective and energized. This moment feels like a turning point—one filled with possibility and purpose.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been accepted into the Gifted and Talented Add-On Graduate Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. This year-long program includes three intensive semesters that will deepen my understanding of gifted education and open new doors for supporting students. Even more exciting, it offers a pathway toward a master’s degree if I choose to continue beyond the certification.

The courses explore every dimension of gifted education, from foundational principles and identification practices to the social and emotional needs of gifted learners. Each class feels like a meaningful step toward helping students and educators thrive through more flexible, creative, and research-informed approaches.

This program feels like the perfect next step—a way to blend my passion for gifted education with my own lifelong love of learning. I can already see how these experiences will shape new resources, workshops, and ideas for the InterestEd community.

I’m deeply grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received from readers, clients, and friends. Knowing you’re here, cheering me on, continues to inspire me every day. Thank you for being part of this journey, and here’s to all the growth, discovery, and learning still ahead.
