At the heart of my work is a commitment to helping students learn in ways that are meaningful, engaging, and appropriately challenging.
That commitment has shaped my work across classrooms, virtual schools, learning centers, and eight years of homeschooling my three daughters. In every setting, my goal has remained the same: to create learning experiences that are thoughtful, engaging, and appropriately challenging.
I work with schools, districts, homeschool families, and organizations to provide instructional coaching, professional development, and curriculum support. While I specialize in gifted education, my approach is grounded in flexible, research-based practices that support a wide range of learners. At the core of my work is a simple belief: learning should be flexible, meaningful, and appropriately challenging for every student.
My background includes:
Certified English/Language Arts teacher and Gifted & Talented educator
Instructional coach and educational consultant working with schools and districts
Eight years of homeschooling experience with my three gifted daughters
Curriculum designer and creator of student workbooks and learning resources
Contributor to national education platforms including Edutopia
Board member for the Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted (WATG) and the Wausau Conservatory of Music
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Instructional Coaching
Published author and creator of classroom and student learning resources
Beyond my professional work, I believe that curiosity, creativity, and everyday experiences play a powerful role in how we learn.
When I’m not collaborating with educators or creating new resources, you’ll find me enjoying life in Central Wisconsin with my husband and our three daughters, along with our dog, a cat, and more than 50 houseplants.
